Very well located for seeing most of the main tourist attractions in the city. Easy to walk, bike or scooter to the Capitol, national mall, white house, etc. There is a Safeway 3 blocks away and a metro station about the same distance from the hotel. The Museum of the bible is just 1 block away. The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding (eggs, potatoes, French toast, pancakes, breakfast burrito fixings, yogurt, fresh fruits salad, biscuits, etc). The food was restaurant quality which really elevated our experience staying here. I appreciated the security of the hotel (you needed a key card to access any floor higher than the 3rd floor lobby). The hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel will hold your bags upon checking out if you are not leaving the area until later in the day at no extra charge. We loved that the rooms were spacious with 2 queens and a sofa bed, which allowed everyone to ha e plenty of space to relax and sleep.

The room was comfortable and clean and large enough for all 5 of us to have our own area to settle in. The housekeeping staff made the beds and changed towels every day, which was much appreciated. Although the outdoor pool is very small, the kids had fun as long as no one else was there (we could see the pool from our window, so the kids would watch for people being there). Fitness center is great. We used & enjoyed the lovely lobby area and business center to chat in the evenings. The amount and variety in the breakfast bar was amazing (LOVED the breakfast burrito bar, yogurt & fruit & toppings selection, hot food options changed every day, etc.). Valet parking service was fantastic (very friendly staff, car was available the instant we wanted it). We could see the Jefferson Memorial from our window (several blocks away) and we were a 10-20 minute walk from everything we wanted to see.

We absolutely loved the breakfast and location. Breakfast included hot foods, plentiful options, fresh fruits, truly something for everyone. The location was extremely convenient. Close walking distance to all the main sights, a few blocks away to a grocery store for any necessities you need. Although there is a fire station on the 1st floor of part of the hotel and a major hwy on another side, it was extremely quite in our rooms (we had 2 different ones on different parts of our trip). This was the quietest hotel we stayed at in the duration of our trip. The beds were comfortable, with plenty of space for 5 to spread out (we had 2 queens and a sofa sleeper). The staff was very accommodating and kind.

The location is fantastic, being only five minutes on foot from the National Mall. The breakfast is expansive. It’s also in a really safe part of the city owing to its proximity to the government buildings - I’ve seen the FBI, Secret Service and MPD on patrol on a regular basis! The room was very comfortable, and even with the train station, interstate and a fire station right next door, these were never really that much of an issue to me - I could hear them, but it didn’t prevent me from resting and relaxing. I can see other reviews said these were intrusive, so it might be louder on lower floors, but I was up on the 12th floor. Shower is nice and hot and has a solid water pressure - very refreshing!

Location! It is some few blocks from the National Mall (Capitol) and you can easily walk until there and knew this place and the museums around it (which are greatly free). You`ll have two subway stations near the hotel which makes you arrive easily to the hotel from the Dulles Airport ($6.50 the ticket - Lèffant Plaza and Capitol Center). The staff was very attentive and also speaks spanish. The room was very good and the heating system worked well. A tip is use the google maps to do the subway routs inside the city. It worked very well from the hotel.
